Adult ADHD Assessments

If you’ve been wondering whether ADHD might explain challenges with focus, organization, or follow-through, an assessment can help bring clarity and direction. Adult ADHD assessments offer a focused, evidence-based way to evaluate ADHD without the need for a full neuropsychological evaluation.

You’ll receive clear, thoughtful feedback to help you better understand and appreciate your unique neurobiology and, when appropriate, a written summary with practical recommendations to support next steps in treatment, work, or daily life. The goal is greater understanding, self-compassion, and confidence moving forward.

What to Expect in an ADHD Assessment

Each assessment is personalized to your concerns and designed to provide clarity and practical next steps. The process may include:

  • A comprehensive clinical interview exploring childhood and adult experiences

  • Evidence-based rating scales completed by you and, when helpful, a family member or observer

  • Screening for related concerns (anxiety, depression, trauma, learning differences)

  • Integrated feedback with individualized recommendations

  • Optional written summary for sharing with providers, school, or work

How an ADHD Assessment Can Help

An assessment can help you:

  • Clarify whether ADHD is contributing to challenges with attention, impulsivity, and executive functioning

  • Better understand skills such as organization, time management, focus, planning, and emotional regulation

  • Differentiate ADHD from stress, anxiety, trauma, burnout, or learning differences

  • Reduce self-blame and gain clearer insight into what’s really happening

  • Receive tailored recommendations for therapy, coaching, and daily supports

  • Explore documentation for academic or workplace accommodations
